Jonathan is one of the pioneers of the Israeli FoodTech and has led The Kitchen the first Israeli FoodTech incubator since it's inception in 2014. The Kitchen, owned by the Strauss Group and supported by the state of Israel, has been investing in early-stage Israeli FoodTech startups aiming to support Better Industry, Better Food, Better World. Since Jonathan has been leading The Kitchen activity, the portfolio grew to 22 startups who have raised capital of over $ 222 million. Jonathan brings a unique combination of experience in Hi-Tech and food businesses serving in leadership positions. He is a co-founder and a director in Copia-Agro, an early stage AgTech fund. He also served in various executive positions in food companies including as a CEO of $100M edible oil company. Jonathan is a board member in IATI (Israel Advanced Technology Industries), representing all Hi-Tech activities in Israel and an evaluator at the Horizon European Fund.
