The Future of Protein Production Summit
FPP x CMS Amsterdam Starts In
About the event
With 1,000+ attendees and 65+ exhibiting companies, this in-person conference and exhibition has become Europe’s key meeting point for those working to scale novel foods.
In 2026, the event will be co-located with the Cultured Meat Symposium for the first time in Europe, with two dedicated conference tracks running side by side. A single ticket provides access to both, allowing delegates to move freely between sessions and explore complementary areas of the industry.
The Future of Protein Production will cover the full breadth of alternative proteins, including plant-based, fermentation-derived, and other novel and emerging food technologies, with an expanded focus on health and wellness, longevity, and functional protein development.

Alongside this, the Cultured Meat Symposium will deliver a dedicated deep dive into cell-cultivated meat, bringing together leaders focused on scaling, regulation, and commercialization of this rapidly evolving category.
Together, the two agendas offer both depth and breadth — giving attendees the ability to focus on their core area while gaining insight into adjacent technologies shaping the future of food. From early-stage research through to commercial production and retail, the event connects the people and technologies shaping how new proteins reach the market.
The exhibition will be free to attend, opening the doors to a wider audience across the value chain. Throughout the event, shared networking breaks will bring together conference delegates and exhibition visitors, creating more opportunities for meaningful conversations, connections, and potential partnerships.
What to Expect in 2026
The combined agenda will feature 100+ expert speakers, alongside technical presentations, panel discussions and fireside chats focused on the technical, commercial, and regulatory challenges facing the sector.
The Startup Innovation Zone will return with an expanded focus, supporting emerging companies as they move from concept to commercialization.Following an event that welcomed 750+ participants from 38 countries in 2025, the Amsterdam edition continues to attract a highly international audience across the value chain.
