Neta Lavon
Dr. Neta Lavon is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of cellular agriculture leader Aleph Farms. Based in Israel, Aleph Farms diversifies the supply and decentralizes the production of high-quality animal proteins and fats. Under its first product brand, Aleph Cuts, the company is launching the world’s first cultivated beef steaks. Prior to her current role, Dr. Lavon was the COO of Kadimastem (KDST), where she developed cell therapy products for ALS and diabetes patients. Previously, she also worked as a researcher at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California, where she established over two dozen novel pluripotent stem cell lines. Dr. Lavon holds a PhD in Genetics, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and a B.Sc. in Food Sciences from the Hebrew University in Israel. She is an expert in stem cell applications in biotechnology.
