Alex is the Deputy Head of Policy at the Good Food Institute Europe, an international nonprofit think tank helping to build a more secure and sustainable food system. Since joining GFI in 2019, he has been working with EU policymakers and civil society to mobilise public R&D funding and create an evidence-based regulatory path to market for plant-based, fermentation-made, and cultivated meat, eggs, dairy and seafood. Alex is based in Brussels and has experience working on EU advocacy, international climate change policy, and development cooperation.
