Clément is the Head of FoodTech at REWE Group, one of Europe's largest retailers, boasting a turnover exceeding 85 billion euros. In this role, he helms a dedicated team that integrates and propels FoodTech ventures and initiatives within the group. His team focuses on identifying and deploying progressive solutions that bring tangible benefits to the core business. Before this role, Clément co-initiated NX-Food, the Food Innovation Hub of Metro, accruing over six years of experience in the startup ecosystem. His expertise lies in executing innovation processes, developing sustainable new food concepts, product innovations, and leading corporate venturing activities. Clément is a University of Cologne alumnus, holding a diploma in economics. He is driven by a passion for food-related subjects that positively influence the future of food and position the REWE Group as a forerunner in the FoodTech sector. His core skills include Business Innovation, Innovation Development, and Startup Innovation.
